It is important that if you are in contact with the Subject of this investigation that you do not change your usual behaviors or ask questions you would not normally ask. Please do not make any comments or have any conversations with the Subject that may seem odd or out of character. Please do not talk to the Subject’s friends or family about the investigation. This is a common mistake and can heighten the Subject’s awareness making surveillance more difficult to conduct and can compromise the integrity of the investigation.
